I think its time for Riot to finally acknowledge that they're aware of these issues. So many people have complained about random FPS drops, connection problems and freezes and so far there hasn't been a single official response from Riot. A simple "We're working on a fix" would do just fine, but not even that is there to at least give some closure to the people who have been experiencing this for such a long time.
ive seen so many posts about this but never anything being done, for me league has been unplayable for weeks, either my fps drops to zero all game long or i constantly DC for the entire match
The only thing they have said is that "they've noticed a number of players experiencing fps drops" and that was a while ago :/
Oh thanks god,i thought i was the only one with this problem where my fps just keeps getting crazy and my pings goes from 90ms to 1000 ms for no reasons and i keep getting "attempting to reconnect" a lot of times in the game,at first i thought maybe it was my wifi ,i unistalled the game an instal it again but i notied that all the other games works fine for me,i could even watch a 2k youtube video and nothing would happen,it started like a week ago after some patch.
the alcove and the rise of the elements make all these issues, riot should outright remove them.
If you use Windows, there is a chance that Windows could be causing your FPS drops. Biggest question is do you get random FPS drops in other games as well. Doesn't even have to be terrible drops. Just random drops where you shouldn't could be caused by Window updates itself. My friend has only found one solution because of all the updates Windows has done just messes up gaming computers. Sadly it can take some time depending on your situation to fix.
Tl;dr version is you hard reset your computer.
But that could mean you should move a bunch of your stuff on an external hard drive to save your stuff.
