rengar leash resets agro?

I'll try and add the replay if i can figure out how I was playing shyvanna and our rengar kept pouncing on blue and even though blue was attackiing me the whole time it reset its agro and full healed so we had to do it twice. Didn't affect me to much but it gave him a really rough early game for being late to lane
