Help me with this quick fix

stupid like i am, when the league of legends client was open, i opened up task manager, opened the properties of lol.client (the older client, not the new one) and i went to compatibility's and i checked in the boxes in the settings {reduced color mode, run in 640x480 screen resolution, disable display scaling on high DPI settings, run this program as an administrator} and since then, my client will not open, i can only open up the laucher and click play and after that, bug splat,. i cant find the property file since the lol.client will not open. please reply if you know how how to fix this. thank you

Try this:

  1. in you LoL folder, find a folder similar to the following (assuming you are on windows) RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.1.242\deploy The version may be different, just pick the highest version number you see.
  2. In that folder, there should be a file named LolClient.exe.
  3. Right click on that file, and select Properties from the context menu.
  4. Click on the Compatbility tab.
  5. Undo the settings you changed.
  6. Click Ok to save the changes.
