When I tried to boot up the game in my newly downloaded copy of Windows 10, League of Legends failed to load. The launcher seems to work fine but when you try to load into a game I got an error that says:
'Failed to create dump file: `` (error 183)'
I just wanted to bring this to someone's attention.
HOLY FUK EVEERYBODY PLEASE FOLLOW THAT GUIDE OMG IT FIXED IT IT WAS NOT THE ISSUE I HAD BUT I TRIED IT ANYWAYS AND IT WORKED OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH DUDE I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
There's a fix for this:
Right click the launcher Click Properties Go to the Compatibility tab Check "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" Check "Run as administrator" Make sure "Run in compatibility mode for..." is unchecked
i already had the "compatabilty mode" unchecked, i ithen checked the high dpi scaling or w/e and run as admin but its still didnt work!
THAT GUY IS A GENIUS OMG YOU HAVE TO DO IT.

I have the same exact problem, i tried the suggested fix and it didn't fix it. BUMP!

I had this same exact problem. I had to update my graphics card driver, once I did that it worked. try control panel > update device drivers > right click any yellow exclamation marks > update
My lolclient is just black screen on log in page :(
