Client bug

So here i am, sitting in queue when it pops to join game, when all of a sudden i click join and the screen bugs and goes black. So i sit and wait hopefully for the client to connect. But unfortunately it does not and i lose a game in my promos. So my question is that why does League of Legends not have a refresh button on its client instead of making you log out. It would be wonderful to not have to get a loss in your series just because of a bug in the game. Riot should create a refresh button on the client to keep from having these issues, especially if its a series game.
