Pretty sure that W should proc the Vital. Vital hitbox is outside of champion hitbox, for those who wanna say it's outside of Garen hitbox. Trying to make a fancy last minute play here to catch up to nasty Garen Q speedup. W vital proc is sometimes off it feels. Not only in this clip. When parts of the W hits the vital it doesn't proc. Is this intended? Feel as it if it's not 'cause this is not always the case.

what could be happening here is, that fioras w is a relatively slow moving projectile. and while he was in range when you cast the ability, me might have just moved out of range by the time it reached him.
another possibility could be wonkyness of fioras passive idicator. i remember several instances in the past, where her passive was buggy and not displayed correctly. some champions had multiple vitals displayed of which only one was real, because the visual effect for previous vitals didnt despawn.
it kinda looks here like the vital is already displayed, but only actually spawned right after your w. see how the yellow marker glows up only after the w reached him.
a third possibility would just be that its wonky interaction of hitboxes, and the w just hits the vital at a wrong angle. it doesnt recognize the ability hit from the side, because it came in too much from the top.
