[LoR] Some minor interface and usability bugs from a first time player
Just finished playing the tutorial levels and a few games of Legends of Runeterra for the first time. Here's a few issues that were a bit confusing/strange to me.
- When (all) attackers are stunned in combat, the Pass button says "Skip Blocks" which is confusing when you have a blocker sitting right there in combat. Also made me scared I was missing some other invisible attack that could be blocked. Repro:
- Enemy attacks with single enemy
- Block with a unit
- Stun the attacker
- Observe button says "Skip Blocks"
- After completing a tutorial level, you are returned to the tutorial menu with your completed tutorial still selected. This strongly suggests to the user that they should (incorrectly) play the same tutorial again. Repro:
- Complete a tutorial level and pass the Victory screen.
- Observe you are now at the menu but the completed tutorial is selected with the big PLAY VS AI button glowing and tempting you right there.
-
Can't drag multiple units in the tutorial when it asks you to attack with multiple units. You need to drag them one by one. (sorry, didn't write down which tutorial, but several ask you to attack with all your units) By "dragging multiple units", I mean the shortcut of click-and-hold on one unit, then drag that unit overtop of your other units, then move them to the combat zone and release the mouse button. In the tutorial, when you release it aborts and puts them all back where they were.

There doesn't seem to be any way to tell what the max health of a unit is. This is annoying when you have a heal effect that heals multiple points and don't know how hurt your ally is.
-
If all non-elusive units are blocked while there is another elusive attacker, trying to drag a non-elusive blocker into combat will confusingly say "That unit is already blocked". (I believe the game is skipping the elusive attacker and trying to put the blocker in front of the (occupied) non-elusive attacker, hence the bad error message.) Repro:
- Enemy attacks with 1 non-elusive unit and 1 elusive unit
- Block the non-elusive unit with a unit.
- Attempt to drag a second non-elusive unit in front of the elusive unit
- Observe "That unit is already blocked" message
