Her ult is able to stun while a person is in Zhonyas? That has never happened before as far as I have known. In multiple teamfights when she ulted, I proceeded to Zhonyas and her ult would go off, and the stun duration bar would appear above my head and I would be stunned as I exited Zhonyas. This changed the game completely on multiple occasions.

Zhonyas does not break Tethers and only make you invulnerable ie no damage. It doesnt say it makes you immune to CC ie Morg Shield.

This is always how it's worked. Stasis doesn't break tethers.

are you sure you didnt get stunned right as your zhonyas ended and the channel ended?

Yea Im sure about it not ending as the stun hit, and I know tethers do not break. But the damage and cc should not be applied while in zhonya's. In zhonya you are supposed to be IMMUNE to CC and Damage(because essentially for those 2.5 seconds you dont exist). In this case I was still IN Zhonya, and the stun bar appeared over my head like I had been normally stunned. The duration went down, and then as I came out of zhonya I was still stunned but the duration had gone down according to the rest of the time I was in zhonya.

Zhonya's makes you untargetable and invulnerable, which means that you can't be the target of spells (although DoTs and tethers placed on you before hand will remain) and that you will not take any damage. None of this means that you are immune to CC, so if there is a DoT or tether that can apply CC (Morgana ult and Karma W), the CC will apply even while you are in stasis.
