Game freezes when I alt tab

If I ever alt tab during loading or while playing, the game will freeze. The issue always occurs. Input and audio works, but the screen itself is frozen. I can right click on minions even though I can't see what is happening. Once the game is frozen, there will be a brief second going to and from league where the game unfreezes before going back to the frozen state.
