Loading screen won't load to game

I tried to play normals for fun today but i had to wait about 5 minutes to realize that i wasn't connecting to the game. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this issue. I had to close the window and press reconnect about 4 times before i would connect to 100%. While waiting for the first time, i was stuck at 0%. I noticed that nobody else was loading after 5 minutes so i closed the window and tried to reconnect. So my first attempt at this reached around 24% but then stopped there. The second try went up to around 64% and stopped too. The third attempt at reconnecting loaded faster too but then stopped at about 76% It was until my fourth try that the game loaded properly without delays. But at this time, everyone was already 10 minutes in the game. Btw, this is the first time this has happened to me and there was nothing wrong with my internet connection. I looked up similar issues online and found other people talking about a similar problem. I hope Riot will be able to help us out.
