Regarding low priority q

So I have a few friends that have low priority queue where it makes you wait 20 mins. I understand that they deserved it and since I am playing with them, I am fine with waiting too. But what annoys me is that while its counting till 20 mins, you cant even reply back to anyone or use anything of the game. Its like you are stuck doing NOTHING for 20 minutes. Like Atleast let me message back friends and use the chat option? Its fucking annoying when you cant do anything and if you leave the q to do anything, it restarts the 20 min countdown again....

I have never had low priority q

That's not really a bug; more of a design flaw.

This is fucked. I understand having to wait for my friends to go through a low priority Q, I'll wait the five minutes while they take their punishment, but it's unacceptable to me that my client gets frozen out, and I can't deal with runes, masteries, browse store, look at match history, or any of the other things client is used for.

I have done no wrong, I'll wait for my friend to go through their low priority punishment, but I won't do it if my client gets frozen because of it.
