Im on Mac Mojave.
I open LoL game client
It opens up with popup that says "We have restored this installation to an older version of League of Legends. Now we'll try to patch it up to the latest version" Then client restarts. And opens up again same window.
I try press "Okey" button in dialog it doesn't help Please don't tell to clean reinstall... I did play recently one day or two ago.
I had the same issue after switching to Mojave. Here's what worked for me:
(1) Find your League of Legends application (open a finder window --> Applications --> League of Legends).
(2) Right click on the League of Legends application --> Show Package Contents.
(3) Contents --> LoL.
(4) Open LeagueClient.
For me, this caused League to open and update to the new patch (which is weird, because I had already installed that update last time I played). Regardless, it worked for me, and hope it does for you as well. Good luck!
