TFT hextech traits bug

This is a big about the new origin in TFT - hextech. When you have got the hextech relationship, it is possible that some of your equipped items will disappear entirely. 3 people in one game lost 1 and I lost 2. I don't know what causes but probably hextech traits. Could Riot please repair this?
