BUG REPORT TFT - Item loss on frejlord skin

Hi guys, This has happened numerous times on a newly purchased tft skin (frostguard arena). I have items on a champ in play and items on the side waiting to be assigned to units. During a quick transition where you sell champs (with items on) and have items on bench, The items on the champion disappear completely instead of going to the side for reassignment. Initial I thought I was going mad, but luckily have an overlay recording each stage so I could check this definitely happened. 1st time I only lost a bow and the GA was kept from sold champion. Second time however, I lost morellos and a GA. Both happened during ranked games so as you can imagine, being items down put me at a huge disadvantage and put me outside of the -+3 item cap in game.

Not sure why this is happening but maybe there's a hidden item cap on the skin as the slot numbers (to move stuff around) seem very minute in number.
