Item drop on fusion

Not sure if this is a bug: Picked up a graves with a chain vest from a shared draft. It was the last graves i needed to fuse a 3 star graves, the graves on my board already had three fully fused items When the unit fused, the chain vest replaced the titanic hydra that was already on my unit, dropping it onto the board Couldn't put it back on him, cause that isn't a thing.

SUGGESTION: In this interaction, take the item on the unit from the draft and put it on my couriers held items rather than altering items i've already decided to put on my unit. Extremely extremely frustrating watching that happen.
