Client not responding on mac after redownload

There was an update on my League client on mac on Oct 2, and then TFT became extremely slow and froze all the time during the game. Then I decided to delete it and redownload, but this time after I installed it on my mac again and tried to run it, it said that I could not run it because it's not responding. I don't know what to do now and I can't even open the game.
