TFT lvl 3 units item prioritization

So I have 8 rengars and one of my lvl 2 rengars has Guardian angel, rapid fire cannon, and bloodthirster. On carousel round, see a rengar with a negatron cloak on it. I pick the rengar, and when i return to my board, it combines all the rengars to make a lvl 3 one, but it kicked out my blood thrister to the bench and now my lvl 3 rengar has GA, RFC, and a negatron cloak on it. Im not sure if this is a bug but I feel like it should prioritize the 3 completed items I have on rengar instead of kicking the last completed item I put on him in favour of the negatron cloak...

I never saw this in game, but it's definitely a bug.

Items are not supposed to get kicked out of the unit, unless one of these 2 conditions are met:

  • Building an item, with Spatula, that gives you a trait on a unit of that already has that original same trait (ex: Building item 3153 on Fiora, by combining the Spatula with the item 1043, will kick out the completed item, from Fiora to the side, since Fiora is originally a Blademaster).

  • The unit, that holds said items, gets sold. This frees the items and put them on the side bench.
