"Equip a unit with +60 mana from items" doesn't account for Spatula+Tear=Darkin/Demon

Hey there!

I am playing tft more or less only to fullfill the weekly quests. One of these quests left me with quite a bummer today:

I equipped one unit with a tear and - in hope to finish the quest "Equip a unit with +60 mana from items [125 pts]" - turned camille into a demon [Spatula]+[Tear of the Goddess] and gave her an additional [Tear of the Goddess]. There was a more or less recent change the spatula items double the effect of the item they are combined with, meaning the Darkin item should give Camille (and later other champions I put both items on) 40 instead of just 20 mana. The quest however has never been fullfilled despite the champion having an additional 60 mana from items.

As tft matches do not pop up in the match history and I wasn't aware of there being an issue, I can't provide you with a screenshot or replay of this. I still hope you will look into this bug as I guess that you can repeat it if only you tried - I wont.

I just played one where I had a Blitzcrank with Spear, Ludens, and Ionic so +60 mana and I didnt get it so I dont know =/

I guess the "fix" is making sure that:

  1. The unit doesn't have a ultimate that costs less than 60 mana. (Fiora, Yasuo, ...)
  2. The unit doesn't start with full mana in the beginning of the round. (Blitzcrank)
  3. If the unit starts with half mana, the remaining needed mana for ultimate should be 60 or more.

Which means the quest isn't "Equip a unit with +60 mana" but "Increase the mana of one unit by 60 or more." It is the quest "description" that is wrong.

It could be bugged or it could be delayed. Missions don't tally until the entire game has ended, which could be half an hour later if you get eliminated early. I got my 60 mana mission done with Seraph + Tear on Veigar, but it didn't complete until 10 minutes after I exited the game.

I did the task again, this time giving demon + glacial heart to a level 2 kayle, effectively boosting her mana to +60 and finishing two quests at the same time.

Maybe it is about me giving the mana to a unit with low ultimate cost before?
