TFT [ranked] LP issue

Hello fellow players and Riot employees,

There appears to be an issue, at least for me, with LP. After completing my first qualifier match, I gained 63 LP. The second and third matches, I did poorly. I placed somewhere in the middle where you neither gain nor lose LP. The last few matches I did well and placed first or second place in all of them.

At the end of the last few matches it would say "+100 LP" but my total LP still said 63.

My total LP remained at 63 throughout all of the remaining games despite me doing well. It placed me in Bronze 4 and my total LP still says 63.

Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

Can confirm, first game won with 101 lp, only gave me 1lp. then when i won another game with 100lp it gave me nothing. it appears its only counting the first 2 digits when it gets to the 100's. Seems the only time I get the full LP i earn is when its under 100 (so winning at 2nd or 3rd place usually).

Yes. I just played my first match after what was written above. Did poorly, came in 4th. +12 LP and was credited it properly

I had a similar issue.

First ranked TFT match (ever) I placed first and "gained" 100-something LP. This was indicated by blue characters (+1XX) above my total LP in the post-game lobby. My total LP read as gaining "1" (one).

The same thing happened in my second (ever) ranked TFT match. First place, "+1XX", but only 1 LP added to total.

I thought this was a system for placement matches until I played my third (ever) ranked TFT match. I placed below first place (3rd or 4th) and gained 63 LP. That 63 LP was applied to my total, which is now 65 LP.

I'm guess either triple digit LP gains are bugged (ONE hundred -> ONE; TWO hundred -> TWO; etc.) or placing first in the match is bugged.

Thank you for sharing. I'm glad that I'm not crazy. I do hope that they figure this issue out, however I'm going to keep playing anyway. If I get first place and don't get credited for it, then so be it. I'm also perfectly willing to dig myself out of bronze 4.

I totally dig this game mode, and I understand that some problems are going to happen upon release. If any riot employees are reading this, great job on all you do!

I think I just figured it out.

The LP is being applied, but "resets" when you climb a rank with the number above 100 (the "+1" from "+101") being applied to the next rank. I'm pretty sure I was initially in Iron 1 or 2 and am now in Bronze something. Showing the current rank division before the placement matches were finished threw me off. Also, I SWEAR I saw someone playing and their cumulative LP score was shown regardless of their rank.

Oh well, hopefully this is the case and I didn't get boned on two wins.

I had this happen with my first placement match, I got 2nd but it still had me in Iron 1 and just said +1 LP.

Nope, wrong. I had silver 4, 40 LP. After winning I am silver 4, 40 LP. So literally got nothing.

Haven't been getting LP for my last 3 games. I was previously and managed to climb. But for the past 3 games it hasn't moved up or down. Still no update on this issue?

Yeah, same. Just got my first 3 victory streak. The first win got me into gold 4, but the last 2 gave me 0 lp.

I might have found the problem. I think i was creating the game from the tft menu, which goes to the normal queue instead of ranked.

Often I get 0 LP for wins, plZ fiX RIOT plzzz

edit: Turned out I was accidentally queuing Normal instead of Ranked. It is kind of hard to tell which you're queuing, sand sometimes the re-queue is Normal even if you were just playing Ranked.

Same, two wins ended with "Skip waiting for stats" and have given no LP.

I placed second twice today without getting ANY LP, both times I was about to get to gold from silver 1 . Riot need to fix their stuff before getting a ranked mode on, this is unacceptable. This is the one feature you CAN NOT DROP.

I have the same issue... I just won my second game in qualifiers and got 101 LP but it just gave me 1 LP...

Just played a ranked game coming in 2nd at gold IV 96 lp and didnt gain any lp, although expecting to get into gold III. Not sure if its just delayed similar to the missions but it was working just fine all of last week.

I played two games, placed second in both and no LP gain for any. Would've ranked up if the games gave me any LP. The most frustrating part was I was at 90+ LP each time i got the bug so it was like a plat gate keeper.
