why am I losing LP for 4th place in TFT whats going on?

phongphu1 votesAchieving 4th place doesn't guarantee that you will gain LP, it's also based on your current elo. If your current elo is hell due to losing many recent games, you still lose LP.
AlmightyColosus1 votesso why is 4th still counting as a win for the purposes of missions and everything else? that obviously makes no sense? you can win a game and lose LP?
