Blitzcrank pull while dying also kills enemy

I had a blitzcrank who didn't pull at match start. Eventually, blitzcrank pulled an enemy, but died during the process. Enemy being pulled disappeared from the board as if they had also died.

I unintentionally won a round against a superior opponent because of this.
