Selecting My First Legend Bug

I finish the first part of the tutorial, and then I'm trying to select my first legend to unlock, and every time my cursor hovers over the "select" button, the actual button disappears. This is extremely frustrating, especially after I re-download the entire application, and get reloaded to the same screen that doesn't allow me to perform the necessary function of selecting my player. It has been suggested that I create a new account, because otherwise I can't access the home page to adjust my settings so that I can select my legend. I'm using a Mac.

Admitting that I'm angry right now, is this really how you expect to get new players? Prohibiting them from playing the game from a certain device? Otherwise, it would be great to have an in-game suggestion, for Mac, as to what your setting should be before you begin the tutorial. This bug is discouraging me from ever picking up this game again, because if I can't get through the tutorial without an unexplainable, dumbfounding issue (like, I literally can't click something? Is this 2020 gaming?) why would I expect anything different later in the game.

Anyways, I was really excited about jumping into a new game, but this was a horrible experience.
