TFT reconnect option only after every game

After every game of tft, I have to wait until the game ends, I only have a reconnect option in my client, even after relog, this is the way it is for me since the intrudoction of the game mode. Surely this cannot be intended. Any known fixes for that? I was trying to find a couple of posts regarding this, but Riot doesn't seem to respond to this.

Havent seen them respond either. Having the same issues, seems like an issues of this magnitude would be a priority

Same issue here.

Had the client fail to connect to the game to during searching for players, then attempt to "reconnect". Now i'm stuck unable to properly leave a match and restarting the client doesn't solve the problem because it's treating me like im still in that game.
