Desert not working right

Noticed that even after having 4 deserts, enemy team still had armor, eg opponent had 3 star maokai with bramble vest, and when i right clicked over his unit it had 85 armor, same thing happening with leona spell, shouldn't desert negate it all?

Desert only reduces base armor of opponents.

IT would be completely broken if it was 100% of total armor

Desert reduces armor to 0 for me.

But it also (new bug) permanently reduced all of my units armor to 0 after fighting a guy with 4 desert active, even after he died.
