Phantom Dancer doesn't prevent damage from Akali critical strike's spell

While the Phantom Dancer description says it allows the wearer to "dodge **all **critical strikes", when Akali spell crits, no damage is prevented.

Either the spell should be dodged or the Phantom Dancer description updated to exclude spells.

Its just for auto crits

why does akali's spell crit anyways. Is it just RNG like auto crits? or maybe it crits when the target is below a certain HP threshold?

Phantom dancer only blocks auto attack crit damage, provided the enemy doesnt have rapidfire cannon.

For spells, AKA abilities, you want .....was it called dragons claw? Reduces such damage by like 80%.

I've had it block Kha's spells on isolated targets(Counts as a critical spell hit), so maybe it only blocks single targets? Doesn't Akali's hit multiple?

Either way all for making it more clear.

But the question is whether a "strike" is considered an "spell". I don't think PD is meant to block abilities, only ranged and melee attacks - in which case the item is functioning fine. An ability that has a critical multiplier is different than a melee or ranged strike that has a critical multiplier.
