Front Line Champion Pathing Bug

Hi Riot Support, I want to report a Champion Pathing bug.

I think there’s still a game-changing bug with champion pathing. I mostly played Assassins and I tried put Shen in the back (near the wall) and it mostly worked pretty well since he was able to pull the opp's frontlines and my assassins were able to dive their backline. However, sometimes it just didn't work. Shen was the one running to their frontline instead, and their frontline just stood still or in some rare case, both Shen and their frontline just stood there (this also happened in one of the Scarra’s games (already timestamped): https://youtu.be/zBKBaL7oTv4?t=1828).

This caused my Assassins unable to dove their backline and just straight up losing the game. Even though I won against the same player the round before with the exact item and position. Plus, it also happened to every other frontline champion like Kassadin and Chogath for example. Is this really a bug? And will you guys fix it before the ranked match available? (because If not, I might avoid playing assassins in ranked)

I had forgotten about this one, I do not play assassin's often but I too have noticed this bug while trying to run ninja + assassin. There is a viable target but the entire enemy comp stands still until your comp jumps on their front line.

This. I really afraid if they won't fix this bug before they implemented the ranked match. This bug happens quite often and is really a game-deciding bug especially for Ninjas-Assassins comp. There was so much time where I failed to get 1st or top 4 because of this bug

I also had this happen; I think the issue with champion pathing is a bit deeper, as a couple of times I got one melee champion just stuck in place, being out of combat and not targetable by enemy units, leading to a round draw. Other times, champions won't attack for a while even if there is a clear path that they can take to a potential target. For the assassin issue, if I am allowed a suggestion/possible explanation - if you surrounded your non-assassins with assassin units (as in, no open hexagons around your Shen, Kennen, Kassadin etc.), it is likely that at the very start of the round the enemy team will have no valid path to get to your tank, as the assassins are blocking it; the enemy team will not advance towards your assassins, as they are supposed to be cloaked, leading to you not being able to reach the back lines. The funniest stuff happens when you play 6 assassins vs 6 assassins (no visible units) as they just decloak in place and start walking towards each other. LE. I just watched scarra's video you linked, and at around 24 minutes he has the config I mentioned in place, but enemy units still advance to the back lane, so I guess it's not that. It happens at 30:35 though. Could it be that the assassins position is calculated before the jump, and when they cover all hexagons around the enemy team, they just don't move?
