Assassin Kennen and RFC buggy

Iron Pwnage··1 votes·612 views

I just build a Kennen with a RFC and the Assassins spatula. Which doesn't make him jump like an Assassin. He just stands in the back and autoattacks around the map (which nullifies his ult because no enemy is in range :-D). I have to guess that this is a bug, because the jumping to the farthest enemy is an essential part of the Assassins buff, and should not be overwritten by a long attack range?

He is ranged to begin with. If I am not mistaken, ranged champions don't jump.

Then the official description of Assassins, i quote: "Assassins leap to the farthest enemy at the start of combat and deal additional Critical Strike Damage." is plain and simply wrong :-/ Would make sense to clarify this.

That is misleading, they jump if they can't autoattack someone already. Place your assassins in front of the enemy, they will just AA them. Now you gave Kennen insane Range, so there is no need to jump.

I accept it, but it makes no sense in my opinion. The purpose of Assassins is to get to the backline, the crit multiplier is only 50% of the trait. So the description of Asassins is really "Assassins leap to the farthest enemy at the start of combat if there are no enemies in attack range and deal additional Critical Strike Damage.". Good to know ...

It does make sense, since you should neither position Assassins in your frontline, nor give them Rapid Fire.
