i had a gold graves and put two rapid fire cannons on him and he would stand in the back but not reposition and just shoot, but all his attacks would miss

Yeah you would expect item 3094 to be absurdly good on Graves, making his shotgun blast go 4 hexes instead of 2. But nah, it does nothing for him. Not even one extra hex. It does, however, effect his pathing to enemies AI. He thinks he has range 2 instead of 1, so he'll hit his target with the tip of the blast with RFC and not at all with more than one RFC.
