rank level drop sudddenly

after the first 5 ranked, i was set to a iron 2, i keep playing few more rank and hope to progress in gold. but after my my last game, i suddenly drop in to bronze 4. I get the third in last game. What happen to me? i am so confuse right now. can someone explain this? help me please.
