Game Client is not recognizing the Surrender Option in TFT

Every time I select the surrender option, the game client sends me to the lobby while still considering me in game. This prevents me from doing anything, including returning to the game unless I close everything out and re-open.

This does not seem to be happening to others I know, so I am not sure if there is something I can do on my end to fix this issue. Does anyone know if this is a bug or something I need to correct myself?
