I have had this issue ever since I restarted my computer. I go into to champion select and everything works well, but after that the league client just goes black and I cant load into the game. I can still here all the sound effect, and the narrator talking about the match.
If you have Bitdefender, the 2020 update to it added an "Advanced Threat Defense" which prevents League of Legends from properly loading after champion select unless you A) turn it off or B) go into the settings and make exceptions for your League executables, especially c:\riot games\riot client\riotclientservices.exe, c:\riot games\riot client\ux\riotclientux.exe, c:\riot games\riot client\ux\riotclientuxrender.exe.
