LP Gains
Recently, a friend of mine came in third during a ranked TFT match. He received only 1 LP. I'm confused on whether this is a bug or not, because if not this seems ridiculous.

It all depends on the rank of the other players as far as I've seen.
If you or anyone are higher than other players it believes that you should place higher and higher each time so that you can gain the most points.
I've lost points in 4th place and gained points for 7th. The whole system is screwy, so it's not necessarily a bug since he still gained points, but more of their screwy coding not quite doing as they say it should (placing 4th or higher should gain points, but doesn't mean there's a specific amount)
Yooo I got a first and a 2nd and got no LP whatsoever, and I sent a support ticket and the reply I got was "there's no record of a first place on your account today" maybe they aren't recording the matches properly?
