My Personal Bug Collection
Hello. I've collected a few bugs over these last few weeks with the intention of displaying them as a lovely collection. They're also useful to skim through so you're aware of the bugs you might confront on your journey.
BEHOLD, some bugs.
Context: _I’ve been playing Autochess since March, switched to TFT at PBE launch. Currently Gold 3 in PBE. I enjoy playing this game a lot. These findings are based on the entire champion pool and having used the majority of strats and items at least once. _ PC: Windows 10 Pro v1803, i7-8700K, RTX 2070, 32GB RAM

1st Tier Bugs:
CHARACTER MOVEMENT
- Characters not moving seems to be based around a “opponent detection” issue.
- Characters sometimes lose track of opponents beyond 3-4 tiles. So in current PBE meta, Rapid Firecannon is king (as it circumvents this bug with its infinite range).
- Some melee characters opponent detection is even shorter, as it seems to have something to do with their one tile attack range.
- So in current PBE meta, melee reliant classes like Assassins, Brawlers and all Creeps are hugely nerfed by this.
- This also seems to be consistently proc’d when level 2 melee characters have Thornmail or Warmogs. Namely Voli, and Poppy.
CHARACTER PATHING
- When “opponent detection” is working, the character will act as if their direct route to their opponent is blocked.
- Even when pathing is blocked by an ally character, pathing will take 1-2 tile movements away from the targeted opponent, before returning to the opponent in a straight line or long curve.
- Sometimes when pulling away from their targeted opponent, character loses opponent detection when out of 3-4 tile range and stops moving.
- This also affects Rek’Sai’s burrow pathing (moves away from opponent when under ground)
LATE GAME ITEM DUPLICATION
- Usually first occurs once the item has been dropped from a character that's been on the board (including creeps), not usually from bench. Usually Golden Spatula related.
- Once error has occurred, it will continue to occur every time an item is dropped.
- Item with bug will usually auto-drop from player its been added to on the board (without deleting the character).
- Item attributes will stay with character even once item is dropped though.
- Item will usually duplicate itself to all 3 slots
- If character already had an item before bug occured, buggy item applied will duplicate the combine item into the 3 slots.
- E.g: (Varus + 1 Tear) + 1 Buggy BF Sword = (Varus + 3 Spear of Shojin’s)
- Kind of cool because it feels like TFT URF. Even Force Of Nature stacks and duplicates so I’ve had a comps with 18 characters on the board. Its awesome.
- Would be cooler if the bug affected everyone uniformly. It does not.
- The error procs only for certain players, and slowly spreads to everyone else. I think you have to have played against a player whose items have bugged before receiving the bug like some weird TFT STD.
2nd Tier Bugs
ABILITIES NOT ACTIVATING
- Noticeably, some characters, even when they’ve lost opponent detection and are out of range of their opponent, will activate their abilities if they have full mana (Garen will start spinning, Kennen will Slice Maelstroms)
- This list can be narrowed down to those who have full mana and don’t activate their abilities at all:
- Gnar
- Darius
- Shyv
- Veig
- WW (Currently he expends his mana and leaps at opponent, but does no dmg and heals no health. Unsure if he still cc’s or not)
- *sometimes Karth (Audio and Anim will start, but no FX and no damage, unless his channeling was interrupted and I didn’t notice)
- All this of course heavily nerfs Shapeshifter comps.
PROC’ING / TIMING
- When some items and abilities proc, the timing of the item or ability is either way before the channeling is complete, or way after.
- Main 3 I’ve noticed:
- Redemption. The green circle appears 2-3 seconds before the character dies.
- Elise sometimes transforms before her mana bar is full
- Elise’s Spiderlings rarely proc on-hit passives either (unless this is no longer a thing)
- Lulu sometimes procs Wild Growth before full mana
- Kass: Gains shield from manaless characters. Whereas his definition says “Kassadin's attacks steal mana from enemies, converting it into a shield.”
3rd Tier Bugs
GAME WILL CRASH (after queue).
- Hard to recreate as it only happens for my rig once every 15 games or so.
- Usually freezes once loaded to 100%
- Screen gives no indication of an issue till you attempt to click on it and loading icon suddenly appears.
STRANGER THINGS
- I’ve witnessed on a few occasions, characters bronze, silver, or gold “rank stripes” next to their health bar will level up at the start of round by themselves
- Even if the character is level 3/gold, the stripes will change to a platinum-looking finish
- I don’t know if this is a bug, but I love the crazy long lighting forks for Voli’s ability. If it is a bug, please keep the lighting spreading full screen, if not as stretched looking. Its awesome.
Nuances & Requests & Thank Yous

This game is super early doors so I imagine many of these Quality Of Life fixes are coming. It’s been great fun so far regardless.

Making the gold income indicators on the left brighter helped a lot.

Love the new Damage Dealt table on the right. Would be great if we could have it without losing the health indicators on the right too.

Disassemble Item option

Item slots need to be larger and much more clearly defined. Or put items “inside” Little Legend. Click on little legend and standard 3x3 item UI opens that you can drag and drop from and to. Worrying about placing down an item correctly shouldn't distract from all the already complex experience.

Rematching opponents immediately seems like an unfair advantage given to the recent victor. 1v1 should only be when there's 2 people left.

A simple UI displaying every teams origin and class synergy, perhaps when we hit tab (like we have for our own on the left)

Simplified Top Down Map View (like in Civilization games)

Perhaps 0 LP DQ instead of -LP if you haven't been able to connect to a game at all. But -LP comes back in to play if you’ve managed to reconnect.
BUFFS:
- Fiora > Atk Spd and Dmg, or a dash like Lucian
- Mord > Armour or Dmg, or lifesteal on Bash
NERFS:
- Pyke > Max distance on Dash increases with level, 3-5-7 tile ~
- Kha’Zix > Isolation damage needs to be less early game. Unless you wish for him to be able to guaranteed delete a level 1 character like Veigars scaling instant kill.
RESCALE
- Nobles to scale from 2 > 4 > 6 // 1 random ally 50 armr > 2 random ally 50 armr and 25 heal > all allies 100 armr and 50 heal.
- Elementalist instead of 3, small daisy 2, larger daisy 4
- If Kass is a sorcerer, shouldn’t he have a spell? Feels more like an assassin or blademaster. Imo, giving him his old silence Q + current shield would be better. No mana burn passive though, unless he’s classified as Void/Demon (like GP is Blademaster/Gunslinger)
