50 gold isn't 50 interest. The interest to reach 50 gold is 5. You need at least 250 gold in a game to get the mission.

That's not how it works. You generate 5g interest if you have 50g at the end of a round (1g interest per 10g at end of round). If you maintain 50g minimum, you'll get 50g in interest after 10 rounds. However, you'll have already earned some interest before reaching the 50g point, so you won't have to play 10 more rounds after hitting 50.

You don't need to reach 250g to reach 50g interest. If you never hit a win/loss streak and constantly swap between wins/losses per round, the most you'll get is 11g each round (5g max for surviving one more round + 5g max interest + 1g if you won the round). So even if you started earning interest at 50g and had to play 10 rounds, that'd only be around 105 more gold earned.

• You get no passive income on 1-1 or 1-2. The shop is unavailable and you are forced to use your first Carousel pick.

• Starting at 2-2, every round gives you 5 passive income. This is static. This is not directly related to interest.
• Winning a round grants you an immediate 1g bonus. This is not directly related to interest.

• Interest is calculated at the point that your board is reset, but before income and streak bonuses. For every unspent 10g (up to 50g max), you get a 1g interest generator along the side of your arena, so you can get no more than 5g interest per round.

Here's an example of hitting 50g interest without even hitting 140g. Many AFK event token farmers did this because their MMR is so low that everyone in their games is AFK with only Carousel champions forced onto the field. They also don't loot orbs, so gold from NPC fights is negated. To avoid the streak variable, we'll force alternating W/L PvP rounds.

By the start of round 2-7 (Krugs), max interest per round has been reached. By the start of round 3-7 (wolves), 50g has been earned in interest, completing the mission after earning only 134g in total.

Really not hard if you manage your gold. Did it 3 times first try each time.. Secret is to get a good starting comp that can carry you to 50 gold. after you have 50 gold banked, just spend anything above that for champs/xp and you will get 5 interest per round.. Not to mention the interest you made to get up to the 50 gold. Should be able to complete it in 15ish rounds, give or take.
