TFT crash in loading forced client repair after

[CLIENT] [CRASH] [TFT] :: Possible Solution Testing IP Has anyone else been having terrible client issues related specifically to TFT? rest of league runs fine on my laptop, but TFT has very brutal crashes that literally force the whole client into a repair process. Been stuck getting all my rank progress wiped by forced 8th place finishes. Running a ryzen 7 mobile chip on windows 10. Honestly its kind of getting really frustrating and I would like to see if anyone has had any similar issues as I couldn't find a form related to TFT crashes leading to forcing the client into repair? Would like to climb out of silver 1 but these crashes are getting more frequent and constantly tank my lp to zero since I cant even rejoin the match after the freezup because the client has to repair. Also heard others in game complaining in chat about similar issues and my friends have had it happen to them (although not nearly as consistently as me). Also I don't see bugsplat come up at any point so I don't think there is any reporting on this issue for riot to work with. Made a poll to see if this is an acute issue with some of our hardware or if this seems to be an actual TFT client side issue

reproduce: random, but occurs in loading screen before entering the match in soft crash/freeze. Almost always ranked for some reason. Lenovo Ideapad 530s (14 inch model) Ryzen 7 windows 10

frequency: although also random, is happening more frequent. In the last roughly ten ranked matches I have had it happen twice. If I had to estimate, over about 40 matches it has happened 4-5 times. I have only had two non ranked TFT crashes in similar fashion, however they did not force a client repair after. Oddly the whole file destruction/corruption issue seems specifically tied to TFT RANKED only.

Whenever a match starts/loads - if I have Google Chrome open at the same time. It freezes my computer. No force repair. But I do have to reboot my PC and restart League without Chrome being open.

Games played with all internet (including chrome) closed: 16 Games that crashed with all internet closed: 0 Crashes that required forced repair after closing client : 0

Games played with chrome open: 17 Games that crashed with chrome open: 3 Crashes that required repair: 1

I know this isn't a large pool of data, but for all its worth it seems that some operating processes conflict for some reason or another. Another thing I have noticed is after crashing is there are multiple clients trying to run, like sometimes 4 or 5, in my task manager. Idk why this is a thing. To note I close everything on my computer now with tft, which is somewhat frustrating given my pc can run normal league matches with like 20 tabs of chrome open. This is certainly a bug and not a hardware requirements issue.

However if you are having problems try ending as many tasks as possible, especially all chrome browser related ones, before getting in a match of tft

Yes. I've had it happen to me several times. I have everything closed and also running ryzen 7 and then a gtx 1060. So not anything outdated. I don't have to repair the client but only a complete restart fixes the problem.

Happened me 3 times now, only in ranked games. Haven't checked for Chrome issues, but will do that going forward
