After getting a champion from the shared draft while your inventory is full ,add the extra unit on the board .

I don't think it's normal to have more units in game than the max units size.

Pretty sure it's been commented on by Riot, I don't have the source tho.

But when you are over the cap, you are unable to make any changes to your field or your bench, can't buy/sell or move units around. So if someone is actually able to plan ahead and use that to their advantage, all the power to them.

this info has been known since the pbe launch and since it hasnt been fixed, its definitely intended.
