Thieves glove and recurve bow bug

When I c9mbined a tier 2 nasus with thieves glove and another tier 2 nasus with thieves glove neither of the items popped off of him for a solid 5 rounds. The recurve bow took the item slot of the theives however I was getting 2 random items per round on nasus PLUS the recurve bow
