"Attempting to reconnect." TFT Bug

I've never successfully reconnected.

I don't know what it is with this new client (I came back to LOL because TFT appealed to me), but it is so very buggy.

I was booted near the end of a match and spent a good bit of time attempting to reconnect and no luck, even shut my computer off and everything. Then I said oh well, and went to join a new game once that one ended eventually. No luck. It now puts me in a black screen and no attempts to reconnect happen.

Is there something I can do to improve the client?
