Force of Nature Gaming

As it says in the title I am looking to only recruit SERIOUS players. I would like for the players to be in the Houston, TX area, but I am willing to take on players from surrounding areas as well. I will require that everyone be willing to move to Houston when accommodations are made possible for the team.

(To begin with you may need to find a part time or even full time job in order to stay in the player house. Eventually these expenses will be non-existent.)

My current requirements are:

  • 18+
    • Living in or willingness to MOVE to Houston, TX area is a HUGE plus
  • Long time LoL player (at least one year under their belt)
  • Plat + in Season 5
  • Ability to work a job (just as I do) in order to actually pay for expenses (The hope is to become profitable within a year through varying business strategy's)
  • Ability to show up to all team practices and tournaments
  • Drive to learn anything and everything needed to help the success of Force of Nature Gaming (this means having a strong online presence among other things)
  • Good attitude
  • An understanding that success comes out of learning form failure
  • Want for a brotherhood

I will not be playing on the team (maybe as an alternate to begin with). My main goal is to create a successful business that will grow eSports in my area and help the city become something more than it is.

I am currently, and plan to continue to be, the only one working on graphics, information, marketing, etc. until I have the ability to hire on people that can focus on those aspects of the business.

My goal is to have the organization grow into a profitable business within a year of creating a strong team of players. This will not be easy to achieve and will require insane amounts of focus and effort from every member of the organization. These are big dreams, but I am willing to put in all of the work needed to complete the task.

If you really are interested go to this page, look at the information and fill out the application.

People might feel safer if they knew they had a job when they got there.

By that you mean actually getting paid to play? That is not something that is instantly available for a new team. You could say that I would be able to find sponsors or even an owner with deep pockets but there isn't even a team yet. Also, if someone with deep pockets funded it they would want to contract players that are well known or on the immediate rise in eSports. They would not look to give most people a chance. I am willing to put in the time to help the right group of people their shot.

I'm talking about your own requirement... People would be afraid to go there and not finding a job thus becoming homeless. They would feel safer is there was some sort of saftey net or a job they could be sure of when they got there.

Generally people would attempt to get a job in the area before they make he commitment to move. I think that is common sense but I could be wrong. I'm not exactly requiring they move to the area asap. I understand that it might take a while for people to make this commitment.
