You won't last long outside of Bronze with that mentality. The whole point of the climb is to progressively learn as you advance. If you're in B5, it's because you're not doing something individually, or you're not doing something in game with the team. Someone can carry you out, but you'll fall back in.
Shitty teams are a result of lack of communication in champ select. Trolls are a result to negative encounters. Arguably, you can avoid having a troll, it depends on how you interact.
