Hand of Judgment is LF Mid Laner [Gold-Plat]

Justice here. I formed the team Hand of Judgment, and I'm looking for players who share the same vision and goal for competitive play. I haven’t yet reached my personal goals for my own skill level, but I am actively attempting to improve and get to the point where competitive and eventually professional play is a possibility.

To be clear, I'm not looking at your rank as a major factor. Experience and skill is, of course, appreciated, but the factors below are more important than your current rank:

  1. Desire to win. This doesn't mean you have to be an excellent player right now, but rather that you have the desire to always try to get better, and win.

  2. Desire to go as far as possible. As I mentioned in the opening, I would like to eventually try to go pro. There's a long way to go, and it's nothing I expect to happen soon. However, it is a goal that everyone on the team will be working towards.

  3. Willingness to play a fair amount of ranked solo queue. This is the best place to work on your own mechanics, and there’s a reason why so many professional players spend a lot of time with it. Of course, duo queuing with teammates is great as well.

  4. Availability for team practice. There are other priorities in life, so I don’t expect you to be on all day, every day. However, team members are expected to be able to play at least one or two games with the team most days. In addition, we will be holding longer practices at least once or twice a week (which can include multiple games, and/or VOD reviews or other out-of-game activities.) Due to team members’ schedules, practices will typically start at around 8pm Eastern time (though it can sometimes be later), and will sometimes run as late as 1am or so. I know this can’t work for everyone, but anyone on the team will need to have a fairly flexible schedule to accommodate this.

  5. Attitude. Essentially, just have respect for everyone (both teammates and opponents), be friendly and easy to get along with, and know how to enjoy the game while still taking it seriously.

  6. Professionalism. This is really an extension of attitude, and displaying maturity. While I would never want to try to censor anyone's personality, I also want the team to be respected. It's really just a matter of public image. This is simply no excessive trolling, BM, raging, etc. (towards teammates or opponents.)

  7. Live in NA, or have the ability/desire to travel for major tournaments (this is not something I expect right away, but as the team progresses to the point where tournament play is something we're looking at.)

  8. Have some experience playing as a mid laner, and be willing/happy to play it as much as possible to improve.

  9. Have knowledge about playing mid lane i.e. Know when to trade, how to harass while still maintaining CS, when to roam to gank a side lane, when to follow your opposing laner roaming vs. when to stay and shove the wave, how to maintain appropriate vision on the map, etc.

  10. Have at least a decent level of mechanical proficiency and a flexible champion pool. Because you will not be counted on as the main shot-caller (more on that in the next point), it's important that you have a decent presence in the game as a laner. I'm not expecting you to be Faker (or insert your favorite mid laner here), but you shouldn't often be losing lane, either.

  11. Be unafraid to make your voice heard in game. I’m not looking for someone to be a primary shot-caller, but you should at least be able to offer up options of what the team needs to do to win (this applies both in and out of game.) I need someone who isn't hesitant to speak up, or unsure about their game knowledge.

  12. Stay up to date on the current meta/professional scene. I don’t expect you to watch every single LCS or LCK (LPL, etc.) game, but at least keeping up with what the pros are doing and why is an excellent way to not only know what champions and strategies are strong right now, but to have a specific reason for trying something different or “off-meta”, rather than just doing so with no real purpose.

I'm looking for an individual who has the same vision I do, and meets every one of the above criteria. If this isn't you, or if you are not interested in joining a team that has work to do before being ready for high-level play, that is completely understandable.

However, if you want to grow with a team that has every intention of becoming professional gamers, then please add me in game if you're interested in talking about the tryout process. I know this is a long thread for team recruitment, but it is something I am taking very seriously.
