Is there nobody out there that's climbed out of b5 hell? I need help.

Seeing the responses i've gotten so far, b5 means you're doomed. I need help and coaching, 'cause absolutely nothing has worked so far.

You don't understand how emotionally distraught i am right now, and have been for the past 4 months.

you gotta understand that if you deserve to be out of bronze 5, you will be.

just remember, the other team is also bronze 5

You don't build Sightstone on support. You don't swap out your trinket type. Your warding is "awful" WardScore Link You built Essence Reaver on Lucian, and didn't follow it up with a Zeal item. You built Phage on Jhin. Few champions take advantage of Armor Pen runes. I would swap your Marks out for AD marks, and your Quints out for Attack Speed (keep AD quints for Jhin). You need to figure out what your secondary role should be. Maybe top, but not enough data to say. Definitely not support, until you learn what a ward is, and spend about 10 hours meditating on the importance of vision.

Good luck.

I watched trick2g's stream and got out of bronze with udyr. Other than that if you play solo lane DO NOT go for kills. Play for cs numbers and small advantages and you will slowly climb. Make sure to prioritize towers over bronze clown fiesta teamfights, it will take time to learn when you should split and when you should group but realize that you shouldnt always be grouped.

I can vouch for 'Dyr. Got placed B1, played mostly Tiger Udyr to carry myself to mid Silver, then Morde Jungle carried me to Gold IV.

Here's a little story. I'm not expecting it to help you, but I'm expecting it to maybe motivate you and make you feel better.

I started League in the beginning of Season 4 and as soon as I hit level 30 I went into a ranked game with my bronze mindset ("I'm the best, I can be Diamond easy") and after playing all my placement matches I was placed in Bronze 3. You see, I was quite happy. Really happy. But as I kept playing more games and losing 95% of the time I eventually found myself in Bronze 5 with 0 LP wondering what the hell went wrong. I didn't blame myself, I blamed everyone else. I never saw the flaws that I had and instead blamed my teammates for every mistake and loss. I played champions and lanes I had never played before. In my first ranked game ever I got support. I still remember picking Kayle, taking CS from my ADC, feeding the enemy Caitlyn and then raging when we lost. I never made it out of Bronze that season, because I was just plain BAD and didn't try to improve nor did I realize it was all my fault. Last season (s5) I got placed into Bronze 5. I didn't even get a chance to climb from Bronze 3 like last time. I felt devastated and yet again blamed the people that I had gotten in my teams both last season and the placement matches I just played. I was upset. I gave up on ranked and started learning the game by playing normals. I met a lot of new people, made a ton of new friends and eventually I got better at the game. Last year, way before season 6 was even close, I met some high elo players (plat-diamond). I mained support back then - still do! - and one of them saw potential in me and he taught me how to support and some other things about League. I felt like.. during those months I improved DRASTICALLY and I actually made it to Silver 5 a DAY before season 6 started (I had refused to play ranked before that, seeing how I had bad experience so I was pretty late with my climbing). Either way, I made it to Silver and right now I'm in Gold 4. It just goes to show that if you never give up you'll eventually make it. Trust me.

You can add me and we can talk. I can share more of how I made it this far after being in Bronze for so long :)

depends. learning one champ, you can master them better. if you play a lot of champs, you learn them more in general. mastering a champ can be more useful for that one champ, but not for every game, unless you can make that one champ always work, and that can be hard vs some teams.

I agree. It's better to be really good at 1 or 2 champs, then just playing whatever you may feel like playing. If you master 1 or 2 champs you are going to better help your team. And stick to one role, even if it is support or jungle. I have climbed from b5 playing support. Most people in bronze want to get all the kills, but if you can support your team, ward, be helpful, not rage, give helpful advice and play the best you can, you can do it. Being well rounded it good, but not necessarily in b5. But in all honestly, pick one role and stick with it. It may get repetitive after a while, but it will be much better in the end.

It's easier to climb if you master one champion, instead of being half-decent on many. :)

i've climbed from bronze 3, never been to bronze 4 or 5 though ever. the better you are, the easier it gets so just keep improving and fixing any and all mistakes (no matter how small) you see.

create a new account and dont get bronze 5 in ur placement, it's that easy.

i climbed out of B5 just recently, im in B2 now. my suggestion is to always have at least 1 good friend to dou with. when you dou with someone you guys can communicate without being told to shut up or youre annoying or anything, plus they can help you out with ganks and kills and escapes. i recommend you and your buddy taking 2 of these 3 roles: top, jungle, mid. generally dous wanna bot together, but the issue with that is you guys become so focused one ach other, you forget the rest of the team and the rest of the map. Also, one of these roles you can both very easily make impacts on other lanes and help your team win. Also, i can give you a short list of some of the most stompy bronze carrys for each of those 3 lanes Top:Gnar Pantheon Garen Jungle: XinZhao Shyvana MasterYi Mid:Yasuo (litterally just farm, and even if you sucked ass lane phase, with enough farm youll be putting in some work later ZedAkali

Instead of focusing on getting out of Bronze or how distraught it's making you, try focusing on the mistakes you're making that are keeping you in Bronze to begin with. Much like most of the commenters here, I was also at a point where when attempting to climb through silver (I was placed in Silver 5 when I first started playing in season 5), I was displacing my losses onto my teammates, which created the "elo hell" mentality and perpetuated so much unnecessary aggression toward others and the game. It took me an entire season of watching pro streams, staying up late watching YT videos of Korean challenger, reading guides, and practicing in norms to finally get myself to where I'd like to be this season. I know things seem bleak right now, and trust me, they are because Bronze is without a doubt the least inviting elo in League lol, but you'll make it. Whether it takes maining one champ, one role, or changing the way you see the game, you will get there. I've only been playing league for about a year and i'm gold 2 on my way to gold 1. it's completely possible, you just have to keep in mind that whatever you're putting in, you'll get out. Add me if you want to discuss anything or need any general tips/pointers. I'd be glad to skype you and play a few norms. Good luck, friend. [slayer-jinx-wink]

lol this is so funny,,, no matter what you do the climb is different ,, you get afk ,feeders ,trolls that play champs that they never played.... you need friends is the best way I would say. Its not only you no matter what these guys say.Getting 3 afk in row ,then a jungler that doesn't know what a mini map is and has no awareness that can be 4 loses in a row and it happens

Was never in bronze but my biggest suggestion is play only a couple champions. Currently I'm a Nidalee main and my other champions are Rek'Sai, Orianna, and Ekko. If you stick to a couple champions and learn the matchups for the champions then you will greatly improve your play. I didn't check, but I would suggest not maining not lane if you do.

Aphrodiitee1 votes

Focus on one role, not one champ. watch streamers who main that role to pick up tips and tricks. JG was my worst role, then I started watching streamers who main it and now I main it and went from b3 to s1 so far, sill climbing.

Alright well i have been where you are and ill try to give u some advice

I hope you already got the rune page and mastery page down if not go on probuilds and look at what pros are running

Pick one champion to master depends what role you play mine was caitlyn it is good to be well rounded but if you want to climb master one champion and worry about the others later.

Only focus on yourself you will be playing with you every single game nobody else you will get better and not tilt as easily.

focus on csing and not trading if you have more cs that means you have more gold which means u are stronger so u can get more kills.

i'm currently plat if you need other advice you can msg me
