Last Season Silver player having trouble climbing back, would like a duo partner.

Okay, so last season I was silver and I didn't try to push into gold, i casually played ranked. This season I'd like to get back into silver and maybe higher. However with all the people who die once and afk, or throw the game its kinda hard to just get placed on a team that has the chance to win. I can play any role but I que for mid, sup, and adc. So I'm interested in duo'ing with someone who is decent. I dont have unreal expectations and I'm not a god like player. I like to play ori, lux, and velkoz for mids; thresh, nami, velkoz and maybe braum for sup, and as far as adc goes MF, cait, tristana, jinx, and draven.
