Plat Team Looking for Jungle
As the title states, we are looking for a Plat+ Jungler. The core of this team has been together for about 1-2 months depending on the player, and we have pretty good synergy. We've won a couple smaller RP tourneys with a sub, and are looking to find an actual jungler for the roster so that we can practice together and enter larger tourneys with better competition. I firmly believe we can compete up to a diamond 2 level, and hope to find someone with a similar mindset who won't be deterred by the thought of playing higher level teams.
Anyways, on to what I expect from a jungler:
I expect a jungler to be capable of exerting pressure on the map. I absolutely abhor junglers who solely farm the jungle and then want to hard carry in the late game (Udyr/WW/Noc/etc). This isn't a 4v5 until 20 mins game. I have no problem with a carry jungler, but you better be able to put pressure on the lanes/jungler while you farm. I expect the jungler to be vocal and knowledgeable about the objective side of the game, so that means knowing both when we should do/contest dragons/buffs/barons, but also when we should either delay or give up the objective. I expect the jungler to have a specific objective in mind when they gank a lane; I don't like the mindset "well I haven't been top yet, so I should probably go up there." Lastly, I expect my jungler to be completely in command of the objective we are doing. So if we are doing baron and the other jungler is alive, I expect him to be telling who to zone what and when, when we should be doing dps on baron, and when we should instantly stop baron dps so there is no chance for a steal. Also, when we should keep dps vs peel off and fight.
I also expect the jungler to understand the macro side of the game- lane control, when he should be ganking top (like when a big wave is about to crash and he wants to deny the other laner). Which objective trades/races are good. How to push and pull the other team around the map.
A little about our team: We have very solid laning phases and mid/late game team fighting as well as late game map rotations (I am pretty good about the late game strategical shot calling). We also have a few comps that work very well for us. I think our biggest weakness is our mid game warding/rotations when we are even/behind, which leads to giving up picks at bad times. (Here I'm defining mid game as when some lanes are over, but some are still on going, so if mid tower is gone, but bot/top are still up, etc.) So a jungler who can help with warding and knowing when to rotate our wards for what objective we have in mind.
As far as schedule, we are generally playing Sunday-Thursday Nights (~7/8pm-12/1am est).
Post here or add me (emjay3000) or (IPoD Max) if you are interested.
