Not really. If I'm correct diamond is less than 1% of the playerbase. An even smaller amount of that 1% plays on smurfs, and not very regularly. if you're stuck in bronze you deserve bronze.

I don't have a smurf. I'm gold 5 and belong in gold 5 because I am not good enough to be platinum; I'm not bad enough to be silver.

This guy has 327 games in Silver with a 50% winrate. So if people are afraid of him ruining games they should do some math. He is only making his team win 50% of the games, AKA, he is playing at his TRUE skill level.
