silver and gold are just as BS. i suggest you just give up and do something enjoyable.

every elo youre going to have bad players, even in diamond I'll ocassionally get matched up with some guy who belongs in bronze or silver. You just need to win more than you lose, and if you're at a skill level where you can't consistently win games in bronze (Players silver 2 and up should be winning at least 60% of games) You should work on your gameplay. Keep in mind the skill gap between bronze 3 to silver 3 isn't that big.. Actually a lot of players in bronze 1 and 2 are better than players in silver 4 and 5.

While it is true that you will run across some players who either seem boosted (or actually are) in any elo, it does get gradually better. That said if you are struggling to get out of bronze than you really are not much higher skill wise than silver 3 like serial said. To give you an idea i once placed an account in bronze 5 to test the "elo hell" status of bronze, as i've only ever been placed silver + when i first started. The results? It is a myth. I took my bronze 5 account to silver 5 in a weeks time, and heres the kicker that was 1 playing casually, just a couple of games a day, and two there was the ssn reset when i hit bronze 1 that took me back down to bronze 3. I was winning roughly 80% of my games and thus climbed fast. However it isn't always possible to carry all games hence I didn't win all my games. If you really are better you will climb period. I would be happy to spectate some of your games and give you pointers if you are inclined. GL though.
