Serious Team Looking for Dedicated Team Players (Top, Mid, Silver to Gold)

Hey guys,

We're building a new 5's ranked team which will practice 3 times a week. Our goal is to form a team in which EVERYONE LOVES PLAYING WITH EVERYONE ELSE, meanwhile, of course, have fun and get better as a team and individually. Our tentative practice schedule is on weekdays during evening hours (~6PM to 9PM EST). And our mid-term target is to participate and archive good results in online tournaments.

We'd describe our desire playstyle Play Methodical, Play Sync, Play Smart (good in-game decisions). Currently we're looking for Mid and Top. The kind of teammates we're looking for are players of compatible personalities, attitude towards the game, skill / potentials and as importantly, high level of involvement and dedication to the team (everyone of us DESIRE to build and grow the team together), also, be patient in the progress of building a well-oiled team. Here are a few things that may reflect a little that:

  • Praise the good plays, cheer for victories, always respect
  • We think best time in the game was spent of post-game reviews when we talked about our mistakes, how our tactics worked out and how we should improve
  • In most of the losing games, even with a very little hope to turn around, still try our best to win and take it as a good learning experience
  • Share links and thoughts about LoL strats, tactics and tricks on Skype group
  • Respect others' time by show up on time and ready in practice
  • Never troll, flame or talk ** to allies and enemies
  • We DON'T tell each other how I won that 28-2 last game or how that stupid jungler threw the last game
  • Keep an open mind to others' opinions and thoughts

Please reply below if you're interested. Honestly your solo queue division doesn't matter a lot cause we met good team players at brozne 2 and I-go-in-for-the-potential-kill-1v4-and-die (aka Tryndamere syndrome) plat 1 players. But generally we're looking for skill level of around silver and gold.

We are going to run some tryouts and we'be be looking at the attitude, communicates, decision making and skills. And it's very important you show up for your tryouts on the agreed time and date.

I will reply to everyone who applied no matter what's our recruitment decision. Feel free to add me in-game: pL0T (it's zero "0" not "O") if you have any questions (pls also talk to me if you add me in-game, I may not know you're interested in the role or something).

General Requirements:

  • Mature with positive attitude, perferrably 18+ (no huge-egos or self-centered kids pls)
  • A team player willing to communicate, learn, have fun and get better together with the team
  • Patient, Considerate and good mannered
  • Good awareness, game knowledge and mechanics
  • Proficient in match-ups of your role (e.g. counters, lane gameplan, etc)
  • Willing to commit and contribute proactively to your team
  • Skype / Raidcall / Curse Voice and a working mic
  • Active and able to practice in evening hours (show up on time and ready-to-go)
  • Able to play secondary role(s) / own champs of other roles for swapping / own multiple rune pages for match-ups is a plus

Please reply with:

  1. Your summoner name, age, timezone and solo queue division
  2. Position you're interested in and secondary role(s) you can play, if any
  3. How often / what time you play
  4. Your best champs
  5. How you learn to play better
  6. Anything else you think we should know about you
  7. What you expect from the team
  8. How many wards you buy a game?
  9. Are you comfortable in shot-calling?

Mostly likely some of us will play a few games with you if we think you probably are a good fit and see how it goes from there.

Thanks for reading and happy gaming!

  2. Mid (support, top)
  3. I play all the time and the times you posted would work for me.
  4. Based on Mid: Ori, Hiem, Pant, Trist, Yas, Syndra (I'm confident in most champions)
  5. Playing better opponents, watching what the pros do, talking (thinking) through a game after (win or lose)
  6. I'm friendly and get along with others well. I work hard and I am serious in wanting to make a competitive team for league. I'm very passionate about LOL.
  7. To make myself a better player in and out of the game, and to find a group of strong serious teammates to have fun with.

  1. Your summoner name, age, timezone and solo queue division: Arablaster, 19, EST, Silver 5
  2. Position you're interested in and secondary role(s) you can play, if any: Top Preferably but can Mid
  3. How often / what time you play: Usually around 5
  4. Your best champs: Nasus
  5. How you learn to play better: Watching the pros play BUT I don't follow everything the pros do. Sometimes they don't realize a viable pick like Gnar when he was first released.
  6. Anything else you think we should know about you: I like to have fun. I like to have stupid games where we do fun comps but when its stated that its a serious game then i am in serious mode.
  7. What you expect from the team: Fun really. I hate being in a Skype call where everyone is just silent and then the only reason for people to talk is to bash others. I rarely bash i praise more.
  8. How many wards you buy a game? I checked my ward placements and I ward about 12 per game so far as a top layer and I know that I need to improve on that.
  9. Are you comfortable in shot-calling? Sure.

Summ name: Rhox

Age: 16

Timezone: Pacific

Rank: (I duo with silver and gold friends from school and they all hold me back. Once you see me play you'll understand how good I am. VERY good.) Gold 4

Mid lane, because I love out-play champions and they all fit mid lanes role. I am mechanically up to par with master and challenger tier players. But my friends and other aspects of my game hold me back. This is why I am looking to join a ranked team. So I may work on these other aspects of the game. (such as tunnel vision etc)

Because of school my schedule is slightly limited. I can play any time during the weekends, or when schools out as well. every day all day. however, during school days I can only play around like 9pm to 11pm pacific time. maybe 8pm some days. And this applies to every school day so ya I can definitely do 3 practices a week.

My best champs are orianna, yasuo, and wow I can't name them all. Theres so many Im good at. Orianna and yasuo are probably my best.

Any form of coaching/analysis of my game will help me improve. Usually I just watch bjergsen and faker videos, then mimic what they do in games. As well as much more.

Im a responsible guy who values communication and wants to become something great. (The western faker)

By joining the team I hope I can gain lasting friendships, drastically improve my play, and win some tournaments.

Recently as a Mid player I have been trying to buy a ward every time I back. I find I win more games that way.

I am a great overall strategist in game. (oh their jungs top, lets push our lanes bot and mid and take drag) (Oh they backed at drag and dont have home guards, lets rush baron) etc... However in team fights I have yet to master being aware of every other champion fighting. I have a (very slight) tunnel vision problem in team fights.

Overall I know I'm an amazing player, that needs his chance. Let me try out for your team and I'll be sure not to disappoint. But to excel :)

  1. TSS Pidgeon, 18, EST, Silver 5
  2. Mid Lane
  3. Every day, mostly all day.
  4. Ahri/Orianna/Zed/Talon/Lee Sin. Can play most mid champions to fairly high proficiency but willing to practice a champion you feel we need in our pool.
  5. Practice, watching streams, finding in-depth guides.
  6. I'm a generally laid back guy, who wants to grow and win with a team.
  7. To get as much out of it as I put into it. That is to say, if I'm dedicated then I would hope the rest of the team is equally dedicated.
  8. http://wardscore.loltools.net/?name=tss%20pidgeon&region=na - My mage/assassin wards are the most accurate since mid main. :p
  9. I've shot-called for all but one of the many teams I've played on prior.

Hope to hear from you!

  4. Orianna and Syndra are my best mid's although I'm also comfortable on many others
  5. I learn best by trying out something crazy and then thinking about what I could have done better, also it helps a lot to have someone to talk to about what I can do to approve.
  6. Anything else you think we should know about you
  7. I expect people to be there on time when they say they will be, to be supportive, and helpful and for all of us to grow.
  8. depends on the game, but when playing mid I usually buy a sight and vision ward on my first back and try to buy at least one if not two sight wards every back after that.
  9. I am comfortable shot calling
