Looking For Top, Jungle, Mid, and Support For Ranked 5's/Amateur League (SILVER ONLY)

Hello, everyone. I am Guy, the captain and ADC for Team Chasing Dreams, which is a team in the Bronze and Silver division of CompeteLeague, an amateur League of Legends community that runs scheduled tournament games in the same style as the pre-best of 3's LCS.

Due to personal reasons with teammates that I had previously, they either joined other teams, or did not have the time to stay in the community as part of a team, and were relegated from the Premiere League to the Open League, to which I decided to remake the team from scratch and start over with a fresh roster to befriend, jump back into the Premiere League, and win.

If you are interested, please make sure that the answer is YES to everything below:

YOU ARE:

• Able to make practice sessions for a minimum of four days a week, which will begin at 5 PST/8 EST
• Never at any point GOLD OR HIGHER in Season 5. CompeteLeague does not allow players who were ranked that high to join teams in the Bronze/Silver league, but if you're still interested in checking out CompeteLeague, there is an active community in Gold/Platinum, as well as Diamond+ where you can probably find a team to participate with
• Have Discord (We have a server that we use for resources, strategy discussion, hanging out in other games, etc.)
• Positive, upbeat, respectful, and open to give and take criticism
• Able to adapt to meta changes and have a deep champion pool, comprised of champions with different play styles that can mesh with several different team compositions
• Able to respond quickly to calls given in comms, and is able to be assertive and loud enough to be heard in comms.

(Other qualities that are fantastic to have, but aren't required)

• Experience in other Amateur Leagues/Ranked 5's teams
• Over the age of 18. I'm looking for mature people who will keep discussions and comms PG-13, and on topic.
• Able to record games and comms to upload to YouTube/Plays.tv
• A good sport
• Able to edit videos somewhat well, I'd love to start a team YouTube channel for montages/highlights
• Can meme and trash talk. This is more for Twitch chat and our subreddit. Our community loves to laugh.

Some more quick information that you need to know before expressing interest:

The second season for CompeteLeague starts this August, and the season will last for around 13 or so weeks. If school, jobs, or other long term obligations will obstruct your ability to stay active, do not sign up. We will be in the Open League, which has other teams that are just starting, were relegated from the Premiere League, or are still in the Open League from the first season. If we are in 1st place and a Premiere League team drops out, is banned for breaking rules, or disbands because of other circumstances, we will take their spot. In Premiere, games are livestreamed to an average of 100 viewers, that has been steadily increasing since the beginning of the first season.

I have access to Plat+ players that will be assisting us as coaches and analysts, to help us iron out any issues we may have in and out of game, so regardless of how good of a player you believe you are/are not, don't hesitate to come and try out, I guarantee you will learn a lot.

Once enough people contact me, I will announce what day tryouts will be held, which will be held over the course of several days, which will begin at 5 PM PST//8 PM EST.

Tryouts will have these activities:

• Individual interviews with players in both chat, and voice comms (These will usually be held when we first make contact, I like to talk with people interested in the team, so be prepared to answer a few basic questions when we first meet)

• Normal games

• Ranked games

• Ranked Teams

• Scrims against other CompeteLeague teams

During tryouts, you will be judged by myself and any coaches online to help during tryouts on the following criteria:

• Mechanical skill in lane and teamfights

• Macroplay and microplay

• Ability to build and counter build according to lane opponents and team compositions

• Ability to communicate effectively in game

• Your overall attitude towards the game and being on a team, as well as how you relate and synergize with the other players.

My goal is to announce the tryout days this Sunday, in the meantime I will be conducting interviews and playing duo/trio/etc. queue games in the meantime to get to know all of you.

Finally, if you are not the first pick for a position on our team, don't worry! We will also have substitute positions available, should something happen to one of our starting roster members, including myself. If you're an ADC main, you can try out as a sub for my position. Don't be discouraged, because you are still welcome to take part in team activities, or maybe even start a sister team and still work with us and our coaches!
