Unranked player vs gold players.

So today I got an unranked tryndamere in my ranked game while I am silver 1 last season gold and almost everyone in enemy or my team were gold this or last season no bronze players only silver and gold players. That is incredibly unfair for him and for anyone in his team. First of all he had to face a gold player while he is unranked needless to say he lost and he had a bad experience and ofcourse we lost the game since he was pretty much not doing anything since he didnt know any better. So lets put it this way gold can play with with silver and platinum but not with bronze and he is below bronze and he can play with gold? in theory he should only be able to play with bronze and unranked players till he gets his promos making him play with gold and silver players ruin the experience for both him and his team and its just unfair. Maybe I am wrong and its normal for unranked players to play with gold players but I think its unfair so I wanted to share it keep in mind I am not crying about my loss I am simply asking why this happend, is this normal thing to happen and tell my your opinions if you think this is fair or not. Cheers.

The flaw in your thinking is that unranked isn't below bronze.

The better way to think about it is that an unranked player is someone with a "hidden" rank. some unranked after placements get bronze 5, some get silver 5, some get gold 5, some get plat 5. I had someone we played flex with get placed platinum 1 after their 10 unranked games.

If he did badly don't blame it on him being unranked, he prolly just played badly / is a bad player. There's not really a correlation between unranked and bad. Just a coincidence.
