You won't climb if you never play ranked. When you play normals, you consistently cs poorly. And there's a lot of games you flat out feed. You wouldn't have fun in a higher elo as you'll only lose harder and more often.

Make a team and come play my team! I'm working on assembling a group of bronze teams together to play scheduled games more often! I feel like I am right there with you in terms of what you want / are looking for. That is why I made this league. This is a great way to see the same teams more than once and work on team comps / strategy, as you can make adjustments or different bans for next game.
